Let’s Strive to Always Practice Safe Sex on this World Health Day

Sexuality is like a zephyr against the scorching oddities of life. It is what makes you calm and alive. Love, affection, sexual intimacy, and the whole enchilada contribute to healthy relationships and an individual’s overall well-being. Hence, sexuality is an important part of being human.

Let’s Strive to Always Practice Safe Sex on this World Health Day

According to the WHO, “Sexual health is a state of physical, mental, and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.”

Unfortunately, the royalties of human sexuality come with dire consequences like Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and unwanted pregnancies which affect one’s sexual health. Let’s take you through some of the safe sex practices on this World Health Day which will ensure that your sex life is a safe and happy one:

Wear Condoms

Forget about your clothes, you only need to wear condoms during your firesome act of sex. Condom is the first step towards practicing safe sex and it also helps in the prevention of STDs. When worn safely and correctly, it can greatly reduce the risk of an infection. However, it is very important that both partners should know how to put on a condom correctly. You can also use lubrication with a condom while having sex. Not only does it heighten your pleasure but also prevents your condom from tearing. Instead of oil-based lubes such as Vaseline, lotions or moisturizers, you should always use water-based lubes with condoms to avoid any repercussion.

Stick to Minimum Numbers

“The lesser sexual partners you have, the lower your chances are of getting an infection”

Minimum is good when it comes to your sexual partners. The lesser sexual partners you have, the lower your chances are of getting an infection. Try to find monogamous sexual partners. Not only are they faithful but they can also minimize your chances of getting STDs. In case you’re indulging in casual sex, make sure that you are always protected with a Manforce dotted condom.

Sharing Sex toys is not Caring

Sex toys can take your sexual excitement to another level. However, if you are using sex toys regularly with your partner, then you should make sure that you clean them after every use. Sterilize your toys in between the act for added protection. Besides, you can also use the best dotted condom on sex toys. This will keep your toy clean while you’re using it. If not cleaned properly, sex toys can be a source of gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes, etc. Also, do not share your sex toys. Always follow the instructions that come with each toy before using.

Being sexually healthy means embracing and enjoying sexuality throughout your lives. Therefore, let’s strive to practice safe sex always by wearing condoms during every sexual act.
